Bwin introduces a day in the life of an AC Milan player
is introducing a widespread internet and offline activation promotion that provides users the chance to enjoy a day as an AC Milan player. The promotion includes two stages, starting with a viral video that enables users to enjoy the experience of an official UEFA Champions League game.
AC Milan experience
The user truly joins the AC Milan squad by submitting his name and uploading a picture, and will star in various situations and locations, including the team line-up and the dressing room. The viral video ends as the user scores the winning goal and the camera takes a close-up of the user’s face. The name of the user will also appear on the back of the AC Milan shirt.
Bwin activation promotion
The second stage of the activation promotion features a live event at Milanello, Milan’s famous training center, where the 22 winners from the initial stage, who managed to qualify through an exclusive AC Milan campaign at bwin, will enjoy a day in the life of an AC Milan player. The lucky winners will experience a press conference which will feature an official presentation and the usual shirt handover. Additionally, the participants will be transported to Milanello in the official AC Milan bus and will be dressed like a fresh AC Milan player. Furthermore, the winners experience a ‘meet and greet’ with AC Milan players like Pirlo and Pato, followed by an AC Milan training session. Since the start of the sponsorship in 2006, the ‘Rossoneri’ won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Supercup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
