Mark Six invites participants to pick a set of numbers from 1 to 49. Hong Kong citizens are not allowed to gamble in casinos. However, the Hong Kong Jockey Club offers legal wagering on football and horse racing. Mark Six lottery gambling is also allowed in Hong Kong.
The $17 million lotto jackpot is considered as a massive cash prize in Hong Kong. However, European and American lotteries tend to offer even bigger jackpots. The Mega Millions lottery rewarded a shared jackpot of $355 million last January. In addition, the Spanish Christmas Lottery
reached a value of $3.27 billion in 2010.
