Casino Bregenz refuses to pay $61 million jackpot
Casino Bregenz has refused to reward a staggering payout, the Austrian broadcaster ORF reports. One of the casino’s gaming machines showed a jackpot of $61 million on March 26. Casino officials attributed the stunning cash prize to a malfunctioning computer chip.
Faulty computer chip
Behar Merlaku has sued the casino in an attempt to claim the jackpot. Casino Bregenz acknowledges that the one-armed bandit displayed a $61 million jackpot. However, they believe that a faulty
computer chip caused the jackpot message.
Merlaku and Casino Bregenz will appear in court, according to the ORF. Casino Bregenz has banned the slots player from the gambling venue located near Lake Constance. The Austrian casino offers poker, slot machines, roulette, in addition to a casino academy.
