Totalizator Sportowy partners with GTech Corporation
Polish lottery operator Totalizator Sportowy Sp. and GTech Corporation have teamed up. The partnership will see GTech deliver a comprehensive set of lottery technologies and services. Additionally, the partnership may give company subsidiaries like G2 a good position in the future online gambling market in Poland.

Totalizator Sportowy is Poland’s national lottery
company, headquartered in Warsaw. The seven-year agreement was signed after a competitive procurement procedure. The contract features three one-year renewal options. The first operations are planned for December 2011.
The new contract means that the partnership, that began in 1991, between both parties continues. This business relationship has seen GTech
deliver solutions and services. Under the new agreement GTech supplies a wide array of products, such as a central system conversion to the firm’s Enterprise Series. Additionally, GTech will provide about 12.500 GT1200 terminals. The current communications network will be enhanced using the most up-to-date IP technologies.
The gambling technology company will also place its Enterprise Series MultiMedia technology. This enables the Polish company to run, provide and display multimedia content. This content features games, marketing, transactions and messaging by means of one point of control.
Enterprise Series Connect software
GTech will provide the Polish lottery company the Enterprise Series Connect software. This is a high volume and open standards system interface. Totalizator Sportowy will profit from the lotteries transaction processing engine, which allows connections with a huge numbers of retailing channels and tools.
