Scarborough welcomes second casino

Grosvenor Casinos is set to open its first casino in Scarborough. This new venue results in 15 full and part time jobs. The so-called ‘e-casino’ will be opened in the city on the North Sea coast of North Yorkshire next week. The former George Hotel in Scarborough has been transformed into a casino after an £17,000 investment.

The new Grosvenor Casino is located near the Opera House Casino. This glamorous casino opened its doors in 2005 following a £7 million investment. The Grosvenor Casino offers 21 electronic roulette machines with 10p minimum bets and £200 maximum bets. Punters must be 18 years or older to access the Grosvenor venue. Furthermore, players can enjoy 20 slot machines offering £4,000 jackpots. The Scarborough-based casino also offers two rake Texas hold’em tables, allowing punters to enjoy poker on conventional casino tables.
