Palm Beach County plans new casino cruise ship
Port of Palm Beach representatives have resumed the procedure concerning a new casino cruise ship
for Palm Beach County. Surfside Princess officials recently refused to meet the down payment of €19.410. Port of Palm Beach CEO Manuel Almira stated that he’s willing to talk with other interested parties.

Almira commented: “We plan to operate a cruise ship out of Port of Palm Beach as of December 2010. I am convinced that this should be possible. The Surfside Princess remains a serious option if the representatives pay the money shortly.”

“The owners of the three cruise ships, the Ambassador, the Seahorse and the SunCruz VI, are willing to discuss the options. We anticipate other interested companies with a vessel”, Almira added.
Palm Beach Princess
Port of Palm Beach officials will probably contemplate casino vessel alternatives at their assembly on August 26. The new cruise ship would substitute the Palm Beach Princess. This cruise ship was built in 1964 in Finland and in 1979 converted to a cruise ship. Earlier this year, tugboats dragged it out of the Port of Palm Beach as a result of debt and mechanical problems.
