casino in Memphis has been cracked down by police officers. The illegal casino was based in the 200 block of Hewlett. Main suspect Joe McKenzie allegedly operated an illegal casino for the last twelve months.

Police officers seized 2 slot machines and a blackjack poker table. The mini casino also featured a teller that was created to pay out gamblers. Three suspects were arrested who face several charges.

Joe McKenzie (50) was detained, alongside two female suspects. The police found drugs, two guns, a blackjack table and alcoholic beverages. McKenzie stated that the mini casino made a weekly turnover of $1,000. However, Memphis
police officers declared that it was $3,000 to $4,000 a week.
