Former police officer behind bars after selling drugs

An ex Victorian detective wanted to sell tablets for a friend. In court he admitted that he committed a huge mistake. Lockwood stated that he was very embarrassed and he promised to never deal drugs again. However, the judge was inexorable and condemned Lockwood to a prison sentence of 15 months with a 8-month non-parole period. In the late eighties, Lockwood was accused of murdering Gary Abdallah. Five years later, he was found innocent.

The Skycity Darwin casino is based in the north Australian city of Darwin, which features only one casino. The SKYCITY Entertainment Group acquired the casino in 2004. Before the take-over it was known as the MGM Grand Darwin.
