Casino player gambles away €54.81 million
A rich businessman has lost €54.81 million in two Singapore-based casinos. The baccarat
player possesses a huge private fortune so he doesn’t have to starve to death. Previously, a Malaysian player gambled away €27.44 million in the same casinos. Both Singapore-based casinos offer players high roller rooms. These massive losses will surely frustrate the Singaporean government. They had not expected that local punters would produce the majority of casino revenues.
Resorts World Sentosa
In addition, Singapore’s biggest seafood distributor, Henry Quek, managed to lose €14.26 million within three days. Quek stated that Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) provided him credit while he was heedless, media reported.
There are two legal casino in Singapore, while illegal gambling sites continue to operate in the island country. The Singaporean police recently detained ten persons for unlawful gambling and they seized casino chips and money.
