Bobby Brown parties at casino after Whitney’s funeral
Bobby Brown made a short appearance at Whitney Houston's funeral. A few hours later, he performed at the Mohegan Sun Casino. After the onstage show with the New Edition band, Brown visited Bobby Flay's restaurant Bar Americain. Then it was time to hit the blackjack tables, where he gambled
around 20 minutes at a $500 minimum bet table.
The 43-year-old singer left the funeral rather frustrated. Sources said that Whitney's family refused to allow Brown's entourage of nine people. Brown tried to join his daughter Bobbi Kristina, which was rejected by Whitney's family. The R&B singer-songwriter stated that he was given other seats on three occasions.
Only 20 minutes of gambling
"He didn't go crazy, but he was really enjoying himself with some old friends. Security prevented fans to come too close to him. Brown and his entourage played only briefly at the blackjack
table. It appeared that he wasn't really enjoying the card game. After about 20 minutes they left the gambling area," according to an insider.
