Armed woman robs Market Square Casino

The number of armed casino robberies in Rapid City continues to grow. A female robber has threatened an employee at the Market Square Casino in Rapid City. Police reports show that the female robber left the casino with an unknown amount of money. The casino employee used the alarm button to inform the police.

Police describes the suspect as a white woman with brown hair. She was wearing a pale-colored shirt, sweatpants and a light-colored kerchief. Police officials are investigating the incident. M.G. Oil owns the Market Square Casino, which can be found at the shopping plaza near the Family Thrift Center.

Casino robbery spree

Last month, Happy Jacks Casino and Jokers Casino also felt victim to armed robberies. Police have arrested one suspect in both crimes. At the end of last year, Jokers Casino and three Happy Jacks casinos were robbed by armed men. Police charged three suspects who have been condemned to prison sentences.
