The Saloon 10 Deadwood South Dakota

The Saloon â„–10 in Deadwood, South Dakota

You remember the old western movies, the cowboys, the dirty streets and the times of free-riding outlaws. Well, Saloon 10 is a recreation of the old bars back then, the old-style saloons of the wild west. Even the place has a special meaning, the famous Wil Bill Hickok was shot at that spot during a poker game. Maybe this historical event made the Saloon 10 in Deadwood, South Dakota that famous. It is a very small casino with an overall size of 3,000 sq/f, but the truth is that the place is more a museum than casino nowadays. They still organize and host poker and other games, but the true charm of the place is that it reminds you of one funny to watch but terrible to аlive part of the US history – the brutal, rough and wild west. Sitting in Saloon 10 you will inevitably encourage your imagination to play all wild west scenarios from bar fights to guns blazing poker games.

The Smallest Casino in World is in San Diego

This might surprise you but the smallest casino in the world currently is situated in San Diego, California. Even after the renovation, it remained the smallest casino in the world, but the plans of the owners were to build a tourist resort in the surrounding area which never happened and therefore the Santa Ysabel Casino closed doors in 2014, but it still remains the smallest casino in the world.

Small Casinos in the UK

Our journey through the list of all small casinos in the world leads us in the UK, where other two small casinos wait for us. Let’s take a look at two innovative ideas from 2 different centuries and where they appear in our list.

The Old Mansion of North Cadbury Court Turned Into Casino Hotel

North Cadbury Court – The Old Country Mansion

The North Cadbury Court was originally an old mansion built in the countryside and turned into a 400 years old hotel later on. The owners decided to make one additional refurbishment of the actual underground part of the house where they decided to organize small casino. Pretty much it looks like a single big room with an overall capacity of roughly 30 people. There are other huge and more famous underground casinos like the Hippodrome in London, but North Cadbury Court casino is the smallest underground casino on earth.

Grosvenor Casinos Taxi in Birmingham City UK

Grosvenor Casino Taxi in Birmingham

We don’t know if we can count it a casino since it can fit a person or two, but after all, this is a genius idea of the big brand Grosvenor Casinos. Birmingham is definitely not the best gambling destination, but after all this taxi is something that you will remember your whole life. At the back of the car, there is a live croupier, table and a bar! Of course, the sorts of alcohol are not that many because of the lack of space, but nothing can stop you from drinking a good 12 years old scotch while playing blackjack on the way back home, this sounds amazing, isn’t it? Well, it depends on which perspective you look at, one trip only and a bit of bad luck may end up your monthly savings quickly. We still cannot decide to count it as a casino or not but no matter what, the Grosvenor casino taxi has its place in our chart of the smallest casinos in the world.

The Magnificent Macau Palace Casino

Other Small Casinos Around the Globe

Our journey ended in Asia or more specifically in Macao, China. Meet the Macau Palace or the floating casino that you saw in the famous James Bond movie series. It is the smallest water-based casino in the world but it’s not famous because of that. Most likely the amazing Venetian halls and the amazing design of the interior is what makes it special. The best thing about cruise casinos is that in international waters you don’t pay any taxes. Additionally, in the case in your country gambling is forbidden, well in international waters there are no such rules. It is true that such type of casinos are no longer popular but especially this one it’s worth visiting. Currently the top trends are online casinos and their diverse and generous welcome bonuses.
