Corruption in Swedish second highest football league
Match-fixing continues to spread like wildfire in football matches all over the world. This time a match between two Swedish teams in the Superettan league seems to be fixed
. The Swedish Football Association has informed the police about the suspected corruption case, and the investigation is ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Svenska Fotbollförbundet (SvFF) , Sweden's football federation, unveiled that the match between Jönköpings Södra IF and Syrianska FC is being investigated. On August 25, the home team booked a convincing 4 – 0 victory over their rivals from Södertälje.
