SFPUC city employees allegedly gambled online
The San Francisco City Attorney's Office has launched an investigation into online gambling activities at the SFPUC. A number of San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) workers allegedly used city computers to gamble at online casinos. The accused SFPUC employees also reportedly distributed pornography at work.

Agency officials confirmed the investigation into the illegal activities
at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). They expect the investigation to conclude soon. “There is an active investigation into alleged misuse of city resources for online gambling and pornography,” a spokesperson for the San Francisco City Attorney's Office stated.
The investigation was initiated after a tip-off about the misused city resources. It’s unclear how many employees are being investigated. Both the HR Office and top managers cooperate in the investigation. “We are really taking this seriously,” the spokesperson added. All accused workers may face dismissal.
