Rank Group launches new iPhone network
International gaming, leisure, and entertainment company Rank Group has launched a new Apple iPhone platform. The company’s Rank Interactive subsidiary operates the new games portal. UK mobile engagement services provider Mkodo Limited created the games network in cooperation with Rank. The new portal features games developed by Million-2-1 and Probability.
Simon Woolf, Rank Interactive’s head of mobile development, stated: “With the new iPhone
games network we seek to offer an enhanced repertoire for our players who love to play online games on their iPhones. Mobile gamers can now use a top-class portal packed with mobile games developed by leading gaming providers.”
Before the launch of this mobile
games portal, iPhone users were redirected to the generic label websites. iPhone customers can now use top-class games from a variety of the best providers.
Mark Gibson, Mkodo’s business development manager, commented: “Strategy Analytics revealed that the number of mobile punters will rise from 532.1 million to 835.7 million until 2015. With the launch of the new mobile games network, Rank Group perfectly follows the market trend.”
