Unemployed Philippine women cashes $2m in lotto
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has announced that a jobless woman has cashed $2.042.077,83. "The lucky woman started playing the lotto in 1996," according to a PCSO spokesperson. A lotto shop in Quezon City sold the winning ticket.
Single parent cashes $2m
The winner, a 44-year-old single parent, is the owner of the ticket with the winning numbers 06-49-32-03-48-14. The single parent will invest the money in a new home, in addition to paying of some bills. But most of all she's happy to pay for her mother's medical expenses. The winner has opted to remain anonymous right now.
On June 7, another lotto player took home $2.05 million in cash courtesy of the Superlotto game. In addition, a Grand Lotto player cashed $3.186.744,19 on May 9. The drawing on May 2 awarded one lucky punter a jackpot
worth $918.228,18 thanks to the Superlotto game.
