Tonight’s Euro Millions jackpot worth more than €112M
Tonight's Euro Millions draw is set to reward a jackpot worth more than €112 million. The jackpot started at €15 million on June 22, but after the ninth rollover, the popular lottery prize has risen to €112 million. The Euro Millions jackpot has grown faster due to the new concept and retail outlets expect a massive increase in ticket sales.
Belgian jackpot winner
The jackpot rose to €156 million in early June, after which a Belgian lottery player hit the life changing prize. If tonight's draw results in another Belgian winner, he or she would be the biggest lottery winner ever in Belgium. The current record was set in February 2007, when an Euro Millions player from Belgium hit a €100 million jackpot.
Scottish record holders
A Scottish couple took home €185 million in cash courtesy of the transnational lottery last July. Colin and Chris Weir hit the staggering jackpots after a series of rollovers. The previous Scottish record was set in 2007, when Angela Kelly took home more than €45 million in cash thanks to the Euro Millions lottery. Additionally, Alan and Kim Elliott from Aspley, Nottingham won £1 million in cash courtesy of the Euro Millions lottery last March. They claimed their cash prize two months after the draw as they had forgotten about their lottery ticket.
