Philippine lottery player scoops €416.958,92 jackpot

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office has announced that a 44-year old man has won a jackpot of €416.958,92. The lucky winner took home the 6/45 Mega Lotto jackpot on Valentine’s Day. The punter from Batangas preferred to remain anonymous.

He started playing the lottery in 1995 and after sixteen years his determination produced him the jackpot. The bettor claimed his jackpot at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

He selected the winning numbers 10-12-21-23-28-29. His selection was based on birth dates and age of relatives. The lottery player wagered €2.37 on the winning numbers. It’s unclear how he will spend the jackpot cash. On February 10, a lucky lottery player cashed €1.31 million in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw.
