The New Jersey Lottery has announced that a grocery store in Orange has sold a $65.7 million ticket
. According to a spokesperson, the winner bought the fortunate ticket at a Lisa's Deli and Grocery store. Hopefully the winner doesn’t miss the deadline to claim the staggering jackpot, which was the case with a British lottery winner
$14 million cash prize
All numbers on the winner’s ticket matched the numbers drawn during last Friday’s drawing. The Mega Millions player selected the numbers 11, 12, 17, 31, 48, plus the Mega Ball number 1. It’s the first time since September last year that a winning Mega Millions ticket has been purchased at a New Jersey-based store. On September 18, Christopher Manzi shared a $14 million cash prize with another fortunate lottery player.
The spokesperson for the New Jersey Lottery added that three Mega Millions players had won $10,000 during last Friday’s drawing. Four numbers and the Mega Ball on their tickets lined up, rewarding them $10,000 each. Tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth a whopping $12 million.
