22-year-old lottery player cashes $30.5 million
Sandeep Singh has claimed his portion if the Mega Millions jackpot. The 22-year-old lottery player has chosen to receive a lump sum cash-out of around $23 million. Singh won his share in last Tuesday's Mega Millions draw, according to a spokesperson of the Massachusetts Lottery.

The 22-year-old Hyannis resident received approximately $16 million after paying taxes. Singh will use the winnings to purchase a home for his family. Additionally, the money enables him to finish his studies. Singh claimed his winnings at the Massachusetts Lottery head office in Boston.
$32 million jackpot
He bought the lucky ticket at a Hyannis-based bodega. A spokesperson for the Massachusetts Lottery revealed that the other winning ticket was purchased at a Fresno-based venue.
