Hard Rock Casino Sioux City faces second fine
There are about 7,000 people in Iowa who have chosen to ban themselves from all casinos across the state. One of them managed to enter the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in late November 2014. The gambling venue is due to pay a $5,000 fine
for violating the voluntary exclusion program.
Self-banned gambler discovered
The gambler in question had banned herself for the rest of her life
from all gambling establishments based in the state of Iowa. In early December 2014, a cashier noticed the ban when the woman tried to redeem a check at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. She also managed to obtain a club card.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City has confirmed the offense, and they will accept the fine. It will be their second one, after the gambling resort made its debut in August last year. The first violation included a banned gambler who scooped a windfall
worth $5,000 at the Hard Rock Casino, which resulted in a $3,000 penalty.
