Former Rivers Casino croupier fined for embezzlement

Rivers Casino PittsburghA Pennsylvania Supreme Court judge has sentenced a former casino croupier to a $75,000 fine. The 26-year-old card dealer admitted taking $200 in blackjack chips back in 2010. Additionally, he faces a 12-month probationary period for stealing the blackjack chips at the Rivers Casino. His lawyer defined the financial punishment as ‘harsh and uncommon’.

More than 100 gambling tables

The Rivers Casino is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and features a 120,000 sq. feet gambling floor.
