Casino patron claims $264,783 jackpot after toilet incident
A Brisbane resident is suing a casino as he claims he fell in one of the bathrooms inside the gambling parlor. Ramon O’Keefe believes he deserves $264,783 in compensation
. The 64-year-old allegedly fell due to a slippery, soapy floor.
The gambling venue argues that the incident took place as they deny the slippery floor. O’Keefe stated he was spinning the reels of the slot machines
when he decided to visit one of the restrooms inside the casino. The 64-year-old claims he slipped due to the soapy floor. O’Keefe said he noticed a soap spill on the floor which had made the floor slippery.
Soapy floor difficult to credit
The Brisbane resident believes the gambling parlor is to blame for the fall
. At the same time, the casino declared that cleaning staff had checked the bathroom prior to the alleged incident. The soap holders can’t spill on the floor as they are located above the wash-basin, read a statement from the casino.
