Casino gamblers take advantage of defective ATM
There’s nothing more alluring than an ATM that gives too much cash. However, those who take advantage of a malfunctioning cash machine commit a crime. A group of gamblers have been arrested for such a crime after they deliberately benefited from a malfunctioning ATM at the Magnolia Bluffs Casino.
$100 bills instead of $1 bills
Bob Little, general manager at the Magnolia Bluffs Casino, revealed that the suspects had stolen hundreds of dollars. Security staff discovered the defective cash machine and they handed over CCTV footage to police. The suspects realized that the ATM doled out hundred-dollar bills instead of one-dollar bills.
Cause of malfunctioning cash machine
“They cleaned out the malfunctioning cash machine. At this stage, we are trying to determine what caused the cash machine to dispense hundred-dollar bills instead of one-dollar bills,” the spokesperson for the casino added. It shows that crime doesn’t pay, which was also the case with a credit card fraudster at a Charles Town-based casino
